In
response to a number of so-called
concerned people (for lack of a better word) that have e-mailed us, asking why
our puppies and dogs were on a hard cold floor? How sad and we should be ashamed
of ourselves. To this we respond by saying. First of all the floor is not hard,
it is cushioned tile and second it is not cold, it is heated. These people have
not researched nor do not know what they are talking about when they suggest
carpet, blanket, or towels. Or they are just plain busy body’s that have to much
time on their hands or have nothing better to do than to criticize others about
what they do or do not do. To stop the emails on this (which they send and then
block you so that you can not respond back). This is the result (see pictures
below) as to what happens when carpet, blankets, or towels are used. We have
done our research. Are you or would you help pay for this surgery? We think not.
So to these people we say: If you spent as much time minding your own business
as you do minding other’s business you wouldn’t have so much time on your hands
to criticize others and maybe you could do more research yourself!
Q:
May we visit and pick out our pup?
A:
Until the puppies have had at least one shot, it is very easy for them to be
exposed to diseases that are accidentally walked in (things like Parvo,
Distemper, Hepatitis, Brucellosis, Corona, and Pneumonia, just to name a few). So
we take extra precaution and ask that you pick your pup from pictures that are
provided on the nursery page of our web site. If that is not possible, then we
do allow serious buyers to visit. All visitors will be sprayed with a
disinfectant (parr-Quarts) that is safe for clothes, shoes and skin, but does
help protect against the above mentioned diseases.
Q:
When will the pups be ready for new homes?
A:
When they are 8 weeks old for non-cropped and 10 to 11 weeks for
cropped. We feel that they need that extra bonding with
mother and their littermates. We also want to make sure that they have had at
least three shots and that all worming is complete.
Q:
What is included with your puppies?
A:
We place our puppies as companion/pet and on a limited registration, cropped or
non-cropped. We leave the choice of the cropped or the non-cropped to the new
owner. Some want their own veterinarian to crop the ears, and some just like the
natural look.
Please do not ask for full
registration. None will be given. Microchip (home again), at least two shots or more, all worming
complete, health records, health guarantee,
Licensed Veterinary Health
Certificate, and will be at
least 90% house broken to a doggy door. Shipping is available but is extra.
Q:
What type of payment plan do you accept?
A:
Due to bad checks and phony money orders out of US, scams and con artists, we
only accept US postal money orders, bank money orders or Western Union for the deposit only. All money orders must clear
my bank before any puppy will be released. For the balance and for those that
have not sent a deposit, we only accept cash.
Q:
Why should I buy a pup at your price verses buying one at a cheaper price from
someone else?
A:
You shouldn’t. If all you are wanting is a dog at a cheaper price, then you
should give your money to that someone else. But if you are looking for a
quality puppy that has a great bloodline full of champions, and that comes with
all the extras plus being well socialized and well loved and handled on a daily
basis, then we have them. If you are looking for a perfect puppy or dog, "Good
Luck ". People are not perfect, neither are dogs.
Q:
What do you do to better the breed?
A:
We are a small breeder of purebred
Dobermans.
We bred a litter from DNA profiled champion stock of known background in order
to reduce the chances of congenital defects, and to predict with a greater
accuracy the positive outcome of a planned litter of puppies. Which means we
breed for the betterment of the breed.
We do not sell to resale shops, wholesale houses, pet stores, or laboratories.
